this Newsmax article for a laugh.
NewsMax's Insider Report has been warning our readers that Democrats and their supporters may be laying the groundwork for a massive effort to "steal" the election come Election Day.
And how, you may ask, are they going to "steal" the election? By -- gasp! -- registering new voters. Great for democracy, right? Wrong.
Money quote after the jump.
So, Dems are doing a good job of getting out the vote. But there's got to be something else too -- in an article entitled
More Evidence of Massive Vote Fraud Plans?, there's got to be some evidence of fraud plans, no? Well, no:
There is no evidence that any of these groups registering new voters are doing anything illegal -- or planning to do so.
Um. Then what's Newsmax' beef with GoTV? Well, as it turns out, we're registering the wrong classes of people -- we're getting out the "urban" vote:
The paper noted that the pace of new registrations is particularly high in urban areas of swing states, where independent Democratic groups and community organizations have been running a huge voter registration campaign for just over a year.
You know.. the "urban" vote. Those 15th amendment types. And you know those inner-city classes are rife with voter fraud:
Republican strategists tell NewsMax that by increasing voter registrations in inner city and heavily Democratic areas, there is an increased worry that multiple voting schemes will take place on Election Day.
Which brings us to the money quote:
Republicans typically do not have enough volunteers or do not wish to go to inner city areas as poll watchers.
No, of course not. It's so unclean there!
It's so unfair to force people vote in run-down places. Wouldn't America be better if you could only vote in clean, well-maintained, suburban churches?
